About Me
I'm a 60 year old female that had my knee give away and broke wrist and took off cast some 6 week later and had unbelieveable pain. After another week of PT,X-ray's and Dr. visits an MRI was ordered and I was told I'd also fracured my upper left arm also. It appeared to be healed as was my wrist. Pain was almost like my hand had been chopped off. As time has went on I've had 5 or 6 blocks,PT. and take 4 to 6 Oxocodne daily. I've had 3 surgeries and 2 of them kicked of RSD again. I've had rsd for 2 years in June. I had never heard of this condition. I pray for the strength to make it through the next back surgery and maybe a knee replacement. The extreme pain, skin lessions and the tight glove feeling makes it hard to get gainful employment.

I FEEL THE SAME WAY. VERY DEPRESSING. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH RSD IN MY RIGHT WRIST AND PALM IN SEPT 09. BUT BECASUE ITS A WORKMANS COMP SITUATION , I HAVE A NEW DR WHO SD HE DONT BELIVE IN DRUGS, HE TOOK ME OFF OF THE MORPHINE AND NOW ONLY GIVES ME LYRICA 300 MG DAILY AND NORCO{ LORITABS} AS NEEDED,, THE LYRICA DONT DO SQUAT AND THE LORITABS ONLY HELPS ENOUGH TO KEEP ME FROM CRYING AND PULLING UP MY OWN PANTS WHEN I GO TO THE RESTROOM... OTHERWISE MY AWSOME SISTER AND NEPHEW COMES OVER AND HELPS ME.. MY HUSBAND OF 10 YRS HAS BEEN A TROOPER, BUT DONT THINK HE UNDERSTANDS FULLY AND THAT KEEPS ME FROM ASKING HIM FOR ALOT OF HELP. I REALLY FELT ALONE AND LIKE MAYBE THE DR'S AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO WERE SAYING I WAS JUST BECOMING A DRUGIE WERE RIGHT . . UNTILL I FOUND THIS SITE,,, IM ME ANYTIME.. I AM ON FACEBOOK ALL THE TIME.. UNDER DEEBRAWDY.. WOULD LOVE TO TALK TO SOMEONE WHO CAN UNDERSTAND WHERE I'M COMING FROM... WISHING YOU ALOT OF LUCK ....
