About Me
I broke my right foot in 2005 and it was put into a cast. After the cast was removed, my foot continued to hurt really bad and I thought I had re-injured it. The foot began to swell, get cold, and turn bluish purple. By the time I could get back into the doctor, my foot was very deformed. After multiple visits it was eventually diagnosed as RSD. I underwent physical therapy but it did not help much. Today, I have RSD in both feet, both knees, my right hand, my back and my neck. I can't wear shoes and am considering a walker at this point. I have also developed fibromyalgia, lupus, and have grand mal seizures (not related to RSD.) I live for the good days and believe that tomorrow will be better. I will not let this disease win. I have two grown children, one in college and one in high school, so I have much to be strong for. I pray that one day each and every one of us will be healed and pain free. Peace.
