About Me
I developed RSD in 1998 after a severe shoulder sprain. It began in my left hand and crept up my arm. About six months later I smashed my hand in a ladder and it developed in my right hand and arm. Same here with the hubby unless he's trying to tell my story to someone else. We are planning on moving some things this weekend as we only have the 6 year old that lives with us and no other family or friends that live in OK. Makes for a OK Christmas but just really haven't been in the Holiday spirit this year as usually I'm gung ho for it. Just doing the minimum for the lil one who's special needs and going to Church tomorrow which is earlier at 9:30 so people can get out and be with family. Been hurting a lot lately and just got over a horrible migraine last nite. I think it was a stress one as it was different than the usual herniated disc type I sometimes get. Deb, sorry took so long to get back to you but had a 2nd block done, cold weather hit next day, and so was in pain. The weather finally warmed up and it was so much better. Been doing good till yesterday and today. But, may be my fault as been carrying wood in and loading fireplace this last week. We're planning a move to Sperry this next month. Lots more acreage and hubby is going to make things easier for me slowly. I won't have to do firewood so that will help. If you email me to my personal email I'll give you my phone number and we can chat. Also, anyone else in the greater Tulsa, OK area can do the same.
Deb, Is their a support group for us locally? I live in Collinsville and would love to chat back n forth. I'm new to CRPS/RSD. I just got my 2nd block done and don't even have a DR yet. Could you recommend a good one in Tulsa that is familiar with CRPS? I'm only going to Tulsa Pain Consultants for the blocks and Neurontin. I'm 48, a stay at home, I live with my hubby BiLL who works for AT&T, and we're raising our Grandson LiL BiLL age 6 who is Special Needs. I also have a stimulator but mine has gone crazy and it now shocks me when it is on they think a lead has pilled out i had mine put in 03 and they have improved them alot since i recieved mine i was injured in 01 by getting an I.V. then in early 03 was injured again when a piece of equipment smashed my hand again and now it has just gone crazy i wish you lived closer and could come to our meetings i would love to meet you i may be in Tusa around aug 15 at the fairgrouds for a horse show would love to maybe work out a way to see you
